Hailing from Leeds, UK, The Plight formed in December 2004, and after a prolific writing session, recorded their first demo after just three months as a fully-functioning unit. A deal was secured with Thirty Days of Night Records not long after, and the bands destructive self-titled mini-album was released in the summer of 2006. Fans of the live performance, The Plight pride themselves on having played the length and breadth of the country with hundreds of DIY punk rock, hardcore, and metal bands including the mighty Sick of it All and The Hope Conspiracy.
