Tides of Man is a post rock / progressive band from Tampa, Florida Spencer Gill on guitar, Alan Jaye on bass and Josh Gould on drums. Their debut album,EmpireTheory was released August 4th, 2009 and their sophomore album Dreamhouse was released onSept.10, 2010, which both featured Tillian Pearson as vocalist and guitarist. Since his decision to leave the band in late 2010 (filling in Jonny Craig for Emarosa, eventually taking his place in Dance Gavin Dance AND recording a solo album), the remaining members decided to record an instrumental album. The album, Young and Courageous was finally announced for a February 2014 release date. They've drawn influence from bands like: Radiohead, The Mars Volta, TheSound Of Animals Fighting, and Between the Buried and Me, among others.
