Soon afterwards joined Andres Felipe Lopez on drums and Manuela Quintero on vocals. After recording a demo under the name of Phantom, the band fired Quintero and changed their name to Vertebrae. In May 2009 the band recorded and released their debut album, "Moonfall". Though the album showed some post rock and psychedelic influences, it was mostly geared towards progressive death/black metal. The band would continue developing their style and in August 2010 would record their second album, "Por El Aire", a mostly instrumental release which placed the prog influences at the forefront. The band would soon afterwards break up to personal differences, to release the album posthumously. « hide
