With thirteen releases under their belts, it's unlikely that Vicious Rumors will suddenly burst into superstars, yet they have had a satisfying middle-of-the-road career, a career that now spans over 20 years. The first stated that original members Dave Starr and Larry Howe had rejoined the group(Howe had left the band after 1998's Cyberchrist, while Starr hadn't played with the band since 1992. Secondly, a new vocalist and guitaristwere announced, with the singer being none other than the well-travelled James Rivera and the guitarist being former Night Ranger and Ozzy Osbourne axeman Brad Gillis.
