Most of us first came to know Ryan Star on the TV reality music show Rockstar Supernova, where he showed any who were interested his
passion and talent. Luckily for us and unluckily for the band, he was voted off of the show in its closing stages. I say this because from the
ashes of Rockstar Supernova arose R.Star, the brilliant solo performer.
His debut album, Songs from the Eye of an Elephant, was released independently during the latter half of 2006. This album contained

songs that were recorded by Star in his home in New York City, ultimately giving the album a genuine and heart felt feel.
Stripping most of his songs down to their bare essentials, he gives them a chance to breath and shine. With a strong voice and masterful piano
