Cop Shoot Cop was formed in 1987 in New York City and broke up 9 years later in 1996. They could be classified as acombinationas industrial rockand post punk, bearing a few similarities to certain Killing Joke albums. Their lyrics were a dark andsometimeshumorous satire of modern society.
