Norman Cook is just one person, and he goes by the name of Fatboy Slim. Cook makes funky dance/techno music and combines influences of trip-hop, funk, and electronica. In 1998 Cook made it big with his hit single 'The Rockafeller Skank' and it is probably one of the most popular dance singles of all time. That being said Fatboy Slim is not a one hit wonder, his sophomore album "You've Come a Long Way Baby" is a brilliant techno/pop album and contains many other songs with the same potential as 'The Rockafeller Skank.' Cook has released five albums, and none of them have made it that big with the exception of his sophomore effort. However Cooks music will appeal to those seeking fun, upbeat dance tunes with a hint of trip-hop and electronica thrown into the mix.
