The Darkness

The Darkness, formed in 2000, in Suffolk, England, consists of Justin Hawkins (on vocals and guitar), Dan Hawkins (guitar), Ed Graham (drums) and Richie Edwards on bass (who only joined the band in 2005 after the band's original bassist, Frankie Paullain left the band. They reached commercial success in 2003, with Permission to Land and has topped major UK charts, along the way also picking up three BRIT awards, receiving critical acclaim.Their sophomore album 'One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back', was a major flop and did not follow up to the successes of Permission to Land.
