The Crown was formed in 1989 in Trollhattan, Sweden under the name Crown of Thorns. After releasing the first two albums (The Burning in 1995 and Eternal Death in 1997), they were forced to change their name due to another band already using that name until disbanding in 2004.http://thecrownofficial.bandcamp.com/
