The Yellow Monkey are a popular Japanese rock group, originally active from 1988 until 2001. They were wildly successful throughout the mid 90's and early 2000's, and are widely regarded as one of the most popular rock groups of the time period. In 2016, after fifteen years apart, The Yellow Monkey reunited to much fanfare.
