Eternium, released in 2004, was the most awaited Diablo album ever. The structures were sharpened on this third album; the sound was more carefully constructed and there were more melodic songs with guitars tuned to extremely low B. Eternium was the hardest and most praised metal album in Finland in 2004. "Read My Scars" hit Finnish charts Top5 and stayed there for over six weeks, the album rocketed to number 3 and kept the place in charts over ten weeks. The video was voted number one on a national tv music show Levyraati.
Diablo's biggest influences come from old-school metal (Testament, Death etc.) that blend nicely with their fresh approach and furious attitude, a combination that has made them one of the darkest hopes of the famous Finnish metal scene.
