Ananda Shankar is an Indian sitar player and nephew of possibly the most famoous Indian musician, Ravi Shankar. After moving
to L.A in the sixties he began fusing traditional eastern music with the new psychedelic sounds being created at the time,
however on later albums he embraced jazz fusion and in the 90s, worked with Uk based hip hop group State of Bengal
