Anjali, born Anjali Bhatia, is a London-born musician. She first got her big break in the early 90's as a member of the cult riotbgrrrl group Mambo Taxi,
before moving on to form Voodoo Queens. Since Voodoo Queens disbanded in 1999, Anjali embarked ona solo career which, in contrast to her original
style, is much more mellow, and regularly takes influence from downtempo, trip hop and jazz fusion.
