Antietam are an underground alternative rock group from Louisville, Kentucky. Formed in 1984 by married couple Tara Key and Tim Harris after the disbandment of their previous group The Babylon Dance Band, Antietam soon earned a strong underground following for their unhinged, noisy-garage sound. The group went on a hiatus in 1994, and Key and Harris then reformed The Babylon Dance Band, although the group folded once more in 1995. After The Babylon Dance Band split a second time, Key and Harris then temporaily resurrected Antietam, which was active until its official disbandment in late 1996. In 2004, after nearly a decade apart, Antietam reunited a second time, and released their comeback album, "Victory Park", later that year.
