As a blackened death/thrash outfit from Sweden, Demonoid is a five-piece side project combining members of Therion and past members of Chimaira. Despite the main music of the band's two halves, Demonoid is nothing at all like Therion or Chimaira. Instead, the music is fast, heavy death metal combining ominous atmosphere and occasional melodic guitar riffs.
