Despised Icon is a band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada which plays a combination of hardcore, grindcore, and death metal, commonly called deathcore. They are noted for the use of two full-time vocalists, one who does mid-range shouts and screams (Alex Erian), and the other for the growling (Steve Marois).
