Eriko Tamura is a Japanese actress and former pop idol. First surfacing to fame in the late 1980's, Tamura's popularity got so big, she even had her own anime entitled Legendary Idol Eriko (known as Idol Densetsu Eriko in Japan), which ran from 1989 until 1990. Legendary Idol Eriko aired worldwide since its carnation, including Spain, Italy and France. However, after not charting for a few years, Eriko decided to retire from singing, and instead to focus on her acting career. Today, she lives in Los Angeles and, notably played a role in the Heroes television show. She also starred in numerous films, most notably in Dragonball Evolution.
