Eugene Chadbourne is an American string musician whose playing career has traversed many genres, including free jazz, Cajun, and various strands of folk/americana. Beyond experimenting with musical styles he invented a playable electric rake. Chadbourne is also noteworthy for his collaborations with John Zorn, the band Shockabilly, and releasing dozens of albums.
