In 1987, the group settled on their considered-to-be classic lineup, and later released their fifth album that year, “Leyndarmal”, which ended up being their most popular and critically acclaimed album yet. Grafik would go on to tour sporadically for the next few years before suddenly vanishing in 1990, with a posthumous compilation album of the band being released in 1992, “Si Og Ae”, to great success. Although they have remained largely inactive since their 1990 disintegration, the band have performed a few reunions throughout the years. Today, Grafik are widely considered to be one of the most groundbreaking Icelandic bands in modern music history, with their later eclectic sound helping to influence a new generation of Icelandic rock. « hide
