Grafik is a legendary new wave band from Iceland. First formed in 1980, the group was originally a straightforward post-punk band, although after going through numerous lineup changes, Grafik started to incorporate more artistic elements to their music. In 1987, the group settled on their considered-to-be classic lineup, and later released their fifth album that year, “Leyndarmal”, which ended up being their most popular and critically acclaimed album yet.

Although they have remained largely inactive since their 1990 disintegration, the band have performed a few reunions throughout the years.
