Formed in late 2016 by Nathan Elliott and Josh Ostrander, Impressionist is an ever-evolving project that has been pushing onward throughout stylistic and lineup changes. Expressing itself through multiple iterations, Impressionist is a force that fies labels and strives to create experiences unattainable elsewhere.
Their Debut Album, "I Too Will Die Someday" (Released in May 2024) is an introspective work that asks questions regarding interpersonal relationships, nostalgia, and mortality. It is an album that strives to be greater than the sum of its parts, and is a self-contained melodic hardcore novelty.
Impressionist was then joined in late 2023 by guitarist Ryan Easterwood, formerly of Life Lost.
