Lin Que, also known as Isis, is a female rapper from New York. First getting her break in 1989 as a member of the legendary political rap group X-Clan
at the age of 20, she then released one album in 1990 as Isis, "Rebel Soul", before departing from the group in 1992 and then retiring the Isis name.
As Lin Que, she released a few singles before joining the all-female rap supergroup Deadly Venoms in 1996 as Isis. She would go on to record some

on to depart from Deadly Venoms in 1999 due to financial and personal disputes with other members.
After she left Deadly Venoms in 1999, Que then retired as a recording artist, and instead worked as a songwriter for artists like MC Lyte and Queen
Latifah. In 2006, Que returned to recording music, and she then released her first album under her real name in 2007, "GODSpeed", which was also
her first original album release in 17 years. However, she would later disappear from the rap circuit once more in 2010 to focus more on her personal
