KAIZAN was born in 2013 after the dissolution of FONGUZ, a band originally from Mexico D.F. that gained fame for penetrating the metal with
progressive dyes (and within the trend called "djent").
Once dissolved FONGUZ, Yoshi (voice and guitar), along with Prouzak (guitar) and Alan (lead vocal) begin to compose the first songs that would
give form to KAIZAN, whose name comes from the word / philosophy / concept called Kaizen: change to better, or better-in Japanese. Some
time later Luis and Roberto would join to form the current lineup.
