Kajagoogoo is a new wave band from England. Formed by most of the members of the underground experimental group Art Nouveau, Kajagoogoo represented the members going in a much poppy direction. Within a year of their formation, Kajagoogoo became major, and produced their first single, "Too Shy", in 1983. The single was a huge international smash, but with internal tensions and rapidly declining sales, the group split in 1985, after only four years together. Kajagoogoo temporarily reunited in 2003 and 2004, before officially reuniting in 2007, and then released "Gone to the Moon" in 2008, which was their first original album release in over two decades.
