When they started recording the engineer’s eyes almost popped out of his skull and his jaw fell wide open: he couldn’t believe what was happening.Somewhere in ‘96, Last Days Of Humanity got its first record deal and two (yes, two) studio days were booked to record the debut full-length. On the first day Erwin forgot to take his bass guitar, luckily he didn’t forget his beer. The next day the whole album was recorded. The original label never released the album and a guy from France that was working for Osmose productions wanted to put together a label of his own, the label would be named Bones Brigade records: the deal was signed and the album released shortly after… the rest is… history: Last Days Of Humanity became the unchallenged masters of goregrind, ruled the whole genre for ten years and stopped at their most brutal heughts, releasing four albums, a live album and a MCD (and a whole truckload of EPs, demos and so on) that will forever stay as the seminal releases of the genre.http://www.bonesbrigaderecords.com/?tag=band-lastdaysofhumanity « hide |
