Lit

Lit is an alternative rock band, based in Fullerton, California. The members first met in the underground hard rock band Dazzle in1988, which eventually turned into the more aggressive group Stain in 1993. When Stain folded in 1995, the members thenformed Lit. Lit notably had wide success throughout the late 1990's and early 2000's, particularly with their 1999 single "My OwnWorst Enemy", which spent over 11 weeks at number 1 on the Modern Rock Tracks in the US. It was also a pretty big hit in theUK, the Netherlands and Canada as well. The nationwide success of "My Own Worst Enemy" drove the accompanying album, "APlace in the Sun", to become certified platinum in the US, which marks "A Place in the Sun" as being Lit's most successfulrelease to date.
