Mary O'Hara is an Irish harpist and singer born in 1935. She recorded Irish and Scottish folk songs starting in the 50s. She took
a hiatus from music for twelve years while she was a nun, but her reputation only grew during that time, and she was as famous
(arguably moreso) after as she was before. She still lives in Ireland but no longer performs, though she sometimes gives talks at
universities.
