Pamelah were a mildly-successful Japanese pop/electronic rock duo that formed in 1994. The duo is best known for their 1997
single, "Spirit", which ranked at number 15, their highest ranking single in their catalog. Pamelah also had four consecutive top-
10 albums in a span of four years. After the dip in popularity by 1999 (as shown by their 1999 album, "ism", which ranked at
number 18, undoubtedly their lowest ranking album), the group split in 2002, after a two-year hiatus.
