Meeting in 2010, vocalist Kyle Castellani, formerly of Nural, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Buehner began playing music together.
United by a common sound, they began PlayFight with talented bassist Ross Garcia and recorded their debut with drummer
extraordinaire Chris Munson in early 2013.
PlayFight is a simple idea, but a complex sound. Drawing from influences like Incubus, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against The Machine,
Tool, and Jeff Buckley among others, the band melds the contradictory ideas of "play" and "fight" seamlessly into their music and
lifestyle. Live to play, fight to live.
