Queso (previously known as Cheese) is a Filipino alternative/nu metal band that first formed in 1994. Along with Slapshock, Queso is considered to be one of the main figures behind the late 90's/early 2000's rap rock/nu metal boom in Filipino popular music. After releasing four albums, Queso ended up disbanding in 2008, primarily due to numerous internal conflicts. In 2012, however, Queso reformed for a one-night only show, before officially reforming in 2015.
