Rebirth was an underground visual kei band from Japan. Formed in 1998, the group soon became one of the most unique and their progressive-alternative style helped eventually make them one of the most respected underground visual acts of the 2000's. In 2006, after remarkablystayingtogether for eight years (this is considered to be scarce to find in itself, as numerous visual groups usually split within a few years), Rebirthannouncedit was going on an indefinite hiatus. In 2008, frontman Ibuki hinted towards a possible reunion, and in early 2009, Rebirth did indeedreunite. Afterjust two years, however, Rebirth disappeared once more, and it can be presumed that the group split for good by 2011.
