Reptile was an Icelandic fusion band that first formed in 1984. By the end of the 1980’s, Reptile (known in Iceland as Risaeolan) has developed a large following for their eccentric and playful sound and style, and in 1990, released their first full length album, “Fame and Fossils”, which was released exclusively in the UK. Despite their rising recognition in the UK market, Reptile ended up disbanding in 1992. Afterwards, one of the vocalists of Reptile, Magga Stina, went on to launch a solo career in the UK.
