Rhythm of Black Lines was a band based out of Austin, Texas. Their sound could be traced to many different influences such as The Police, King Crimson, Tortoise, Yes, and lots of others, yet doesn't really sound much like any in full effect. They released their self titled debut ep on Six Gun Lover records in 1999 as a four piece consisting of Clint Newsome, Kiki Solis, Tim O'Neil, and Paul Newman. Paul Newman would leave after this release and keep making albums with his band named after him, Paul Newman. ROBL would later release a full length
