On July 26, 1949 Roger Meddows Taylor was born in England. Roger is a multi-instrumentalist who has helped out with a number of bands, but is most
well known for his work with the rock band Queen. Before Queen Roger was in the rock group Smile where he met the future guitarist for Queen,
Brian May. Roger with Queen is considered their drummer, occasional vocalist, co-founder, and writer for many of their songs. Some of Queen's most
popular work that he wrote were songs like, "I'm in Love with my Car," "A Kind of Magic," and most famously "Radio Gaga." As he worked withQueen
he released multiple albums such as, "Strange Frontier" and "Fun in Space." Today he still tours with Queen with Adam Lambert on vocals as well as
he still occasionally tours with his own solo group.
