Rottengraffty is an alternative/hard rock band from Japan that first formed in 1999. Consisting of three members who were previously in visual bands, Rottengraffty are known for their unique image, especially over the last decade. They are also known for their melodic sound which regularly takes influence from nu metal. Originally a band with poor commercial success, Rottengraffty have since risen relatively high commercially, with their biggest success so far being 2018's "Play", which reached number 9 on the Oricon charts.
