錯乱前戦 (Sakuran Zensen) is a rock band hailing from Tokyo, Japan. Consisting of five members all born in 1998, the band's mix of raucous punk with garage rock/rock 'n' roll-inspired songwriting has garnered a substantial amount of buzz in the Japanese underground rock scene. Sakuran Zensen released their debut album 『おれは錯乱前戦だ!!』 (Ore wa Sakuran Zensen da!!) on 4 March 2020, and later that year, the band received international attention when the music video for their song "Taximan" was featured on Mike Rogers' radio show and shared on its Facebook page, where it was viewed over 800,000 times. In October 2021, Ore wa Sakuran Zensen da!! was released on vinyl by the German label Topsy Turvy Records. The band announced on 1 December 2021 that they would be inactive from that date onward. Their sophomore album 『おどろうよ』 was released on 16 February 2022, and it was advertised as being their "final" album. « hide |
