Shojon’s story begins in the royal borough of Greenwich, as a youth Shojon was immersed in all things music, Joining local church choir rehearsals and teaching himself basic keys at a civic center not far from his childhood home in Woolwich. Shojon (Real name John Shownmi) at the time known commonly as ‘SP‘ was recording local artist Blinkie & Bluey Robinson in his bedroom studio and later began engineering and producing under mentorship by Patrick at Hot Money Studios (Credits include Jay Sean, Preeya Khalidas, Esmee Denters).

By 2015 Shojon via That SP Studios had built up credits working on numerous projects with artists like Samantha Mumba & D12 for Kid bookies “Evolution 2“Lunar C & Dot Rotten “Obstacles “ both featured on SBTV. In 2017 honing his skills further as a vocalist-songwriter laying backing vocals for Uncle Rafool’s “Baddest Boy” Feat Paigey Cakey & Dimzy 67. Other credits include: , Lady Leshurr, Scrufizzer, Cadet, Chris Cash, Mostack, P Money, Lovelle Hill, R.A.E Premz & many more.
2020 Shojon’s entrance to the artist platform as collaborations with Bando Black [Right Back] The Real Nuisance [Monday Motivation] & caszack [Contemplate] + Others Gaining over 250,000 streams collectively. Giving the opportunity to perform on tour with Loud In London shows included The Beehive, The Armersham & the O2 Islington.
That summer Shojon released ‘Cough Cough’ Feat. Ginga C premiered on LinkUp TV gained 10,000 views. Featured by OSM Vision
