Swamp Children was an underground jazz fusion band from England that first formed in 1980. Originally having some post-punk elements, the
group then eventually morphed into a straight jazz fusion inspired act by 1982. Swamp Children went on to release a few singles and one
album, 1982's "So Hot", before disbanding in 1983. Most of the members went on to form Kalima.
