The Continental Kids were a punk/hard rock band from Japan that first formed in 1981. They were supposedly one of the
rowdiest bands in the 80's Japanese punk underground, which showed through their fast-paced punky style, and guttural vocals
of frontman Akira. The bassist of The Continental Kids, Renko, was also the frontwoman of the cult hard rock band Sperma,
which was active from 1983 until 1997. Like Sperma, The Continental Kids ended up disbanding as well in 1991.
