The Dayton Family are a groundbreaking underground rap trio from Flint, Michigan. Debuting in 1995 with the release of "What's
on My Mind?", the group became known for their hardcore style, which occasionally borrowed from early horrorcore. The Dayton
Family are still active today, and after over two decades together, remain one of the most influential hip hop groups to come
out of Michigan to date.
