The band was formed by members who would achieve fame in other bands: Mick Taylor who would later play with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and The Rolling Stones, Brian Glascock, his brother John Glascock who would later play with Jethro Tull, Ken Hensley who would later play with Uriah Heep and Joe Konas. Lee Kerslake who would later play with Uriah Heep and Ozzy Osbourne joined on drums in 1967. Mick Taylor left in 1967 as did John Glascock who would be replaced by Paul Newton and then Greg Lake who was only briefly in the band. John Glascock would later rejoin the band. The band only released two albums and should not be confused with a band named The Gods from Ohio.
