» Add News | The Graces
The Graces were a short lived all-female rock trio from California that first formed in 1987. It consisted of Charlotte Caffey (of The Go-Go’s fame), Meredith Brooks and newcomer Gia Ciambotti. Their first single, 1989’s “Lay Down Your Arms”, was a moderate success, and it was later covered by Belinda Carlisle in 1993. In 1992, Brooks left the group to continue her solo career, while Ciambotti joined Bruce Springsteen’s band, and The Graces ended up quietly disbanding in 1993.
