The Spiders are a legendary Japanese rock-and-roll group that first formed in 1961. Usually considered to be the oldest group in
the history of "group sounds" music, The Spiders are also commonly referred to as the most well known of the scene as well,
having toured across Europe and the US throughout 1966 and 1967. In 1970, The Spiders disbanded, but remain one of the
most well known and respected bands of their time in Japan.
