"This Door to Remain Closed During Work Hours" or "These Doors" for short is an experimental post-rock band from the icy hearts of Alaska; Fairbanks and North Pole. The band was formed from the idea of Ej Skinner (Bass/Vocals) and soon the gems of Jack Ewers (Guitar), Chad File (Drums) and Caleb Kuntz (Guitar/Backing Vocals) were found. With each of the four members having rich backgrounds within the Alaskan music community, it seemed only appropriate that their music followed suit to an incredibly eclectic mix of genres. "This Door to Remain Closed During Work Hours" or "These Doors" for short is an experimental post-rock band from the icy hearts of Alaska; Fairbanks and North Pole. The band was formed from the idea of Ej Skinner (Bass/Vocals) and soon the gems of Jack Ewers (Guitar), Chad File (Drums) and Caleb Kuntz (Guitar/Backing Vocals) were found. With each of the four members having rich backgrounds within the Alaskan music community, it seemed only appropriate that their music followed suit to an incredibly eclectic mix of genres. With tunes ranging from post-rock length and magnitude to hardcore intensity to lullabilic softness and a little of everything in between it quickly became apparent that there was something a little deeper to the band. Though chiefly an instrumental entourage, vocals are thrown in here and there. At times abrasive yells at others emotional singing of desertion and success. Historical documentation has even found its way to being read in a number of pieces. Armed with televisions and projectors the boys take stage and have done nothing but left people in awe and satisfaction, wanting more.
