Toad are a blues/psychedelic rock band from Switzerland that released their self-titled debut in 1971. The band was well known for their rather Hendrix-
esque stage antics, including guitarist Vic Vergeat's playing guitar with his teeth, inspired by Jimi Hendrix. Toad was the first hard rock band to hold
some prominence in Switzerland, although their popularity would not stretch very far beyond their home country.
