YKZ was a cult rap rock band from Japan that first formed in 1996. They quickly garnered an underground international following
for their hard-hitting sound, and delicious bass licks from Hideki Tanaka, who happens to be a brother of Hitoshi Tanaka, who
was a guitarist in Back Drop Bomb. In 2004, after a period of inactivity, YKZ officially broke up.
