Yosi Horikawa is a self-taught sound designer who, from the age of 12, has spent most of his time and talent manipulating and grinding up all
sorts of sounds. He puts no limits to his longings for acoustic explorations and mixes different genres, styles and instruments in order to plunge
the audience into his very personal musical world. The eclecticism of his influences (Jack DeJohnette, Lester Bowie, Pete Rock or DJ Premier…)
immediately appealed to us. When this young producer uses his samplers, electro, jazz, hip hop and experimental music rub shoulders with
each other in the most natural way.
