Canadian singer, k.d. lang first gained popularity in music by interpreting country oriented songs. Her major breakthrough came with the duet with Roy Orbison ‘’Crying’’. Since then, she released more pop/rock oriented albums, ''Ingénue'', her 1992 album, proved that she could make a rock album without betraying herself. She scored a hit and Grammy winner song from that album, ''Constant Craving''. In 1995, she released a more intimate collection of songs with ‘’All You Can Eat’’. Then came a reinterpretation of many classic songs, ‘’Drag’’, she followed with a return to rock with invincible summer in 2000. She also co-produced a folk collection of fellows Canadians singer/songwriter in 2004.
