Track: “Still Young”

Released 1-3-2025

Luke Sital-Singh

London folk artist Luke Sital-Singh certainly remains under-the-radar of most indie-goers, making him a prime candidate for this feature. “Still Young” is a beautiful single that comes in advance of Sital-Singh’s upcoming LP, Fool’s Spring. The song blends pastoral acoustics with crystalline production and Luke’s soothing self-harmonizing, resulting in a Sufjan-adjacent vibe that still manages to feel distinct in its own right. It feels like a glowing ember in the middle of a cold, harsh winter. Fool’s Spring releases February 21, 2025.

Again, nothing groundbreaking or essential, but pretty enough!

Oooh I actually quite like this one. I think the musical production is pretty nice. I will say though, that I really wish the vocals themselves were a little more naked, the effect during the quiet parts is a little gimmicky and unnecessary imo. Feel like you could add an entire star if he just changed that lol

Agreed. The song itself is also kind of just atmospheric/breezy, doesn't make a huge mark -- but music like this doesn't usually have to. It was worth hearing and adding to this playlist, but I expect that as 2025 progresses there will be some 4 and 5 star discoveries.
