well that's fair enough, but metal is a funny thing people tend to disagree with each other more than most genres and i've found it's better to just jump head first in and see what's good. of course there are people whose opinions I take more seriously than others when judging recommendations and whatnot but still, we all have different tastes there is no guarantee we are gonna have compatible tastes on every level

if the stuff i'm listening to now becomes redundant later down the track when I find something I like better well so be it.

working through discographies chronologically is what i do and im proud of it man im one of the last people left that appreciates music and bands

i assume some early cannibal corpse albums would be worth hearing, but tbh i've gotten this far without ever liking/listening to cannibal corpse so i would not go as far as saying theyre essential

they're standard fare death metal with a good vocalist (imo) who just happen to be the most well known band in the genre's history

depends on how much DM you're listening to for historic reasons I guess

the bleeding is good all the way through, the rest is pretty spotty. hammer smashed face live is 0923588748593x better than on that album
