Or you can google it with "rar" or "zip". |
he used to be. he hasn't done anything new since like 2004, except for sending imposters to play live shows for him.
yeah like he's really weird about privacy. the thing is is like no one even knew it wasnt him until way later. the MMM Food re-release was like some of the first live footage to be released officially in who knows when. |

Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito stuff is awesome. There's also a great freestyle with Kool G Rap and MF Grimm. |
You guys heard Pretty Dark Things by CYNE? Best Hip Hop album I've heard this year, but I havn't really had my ears to the ground. Any other suggestions from this year?

Hip-Hop threads opinion on uk?
|
zing
|
Oh no he didn't.
I'll rephrase that, uk grime anyone? |
i;ve always liked the idea of grime, but all i've heard is lady sovereign and i find it iffy.
|
Grime?
|
I'm not too keen on any UK hip-hop and I'm from here. fcfabric & Reindeer are pretty good though.
|
I think the only UK rap I've heard is The Streets (which I like) and Dizzee Rascal, who I'm slowly getting into.
|
looking forward to the next few Madlib releases, his BBE beat generation album (King of the Wigflip) comes out next week, and Beat Konducta Vol. 5-6 come out some time in the next few months.
also, I'm looking into some De La Soul, should I get The Grind Date? |
3 Feet High and Rising
|
Mecca & The Soul Brother is like the best rap album ever seriously....
should I get The Grind Date?
Yes
3 Feet High and Rising
Is okay. "Me Myself and I" is all I listen to off it. |
i've always preffered a tribe called quest personally.
|
De La Soul doesn't do much for me.
|
Anyone into Atmosphere?
|
I thought there early stuff was hit (really hit) or miss (ho-hum), but their new album is the shiznit.
|
yeah i love atmosphere. ive seen him live quite a few times.
I don't like his new album really at all. Good albums by him are Lucy Ford Eps, Strictly Leakage, and Sad Clown bad Summer EP |
I didn't like the new one at first either but it has really really grown on me after a few listens.
Overcast! is such a good album. |
Travel away to a common ground as I take you airborne with respect. I Bow before I send you this knowledge that makes you fly without a drink. Read more to keep your heads from disease get ready to flap your wings for departure. Kill that noise you put out and prepare for the arrival of the books I wrote with feathers. Count peddles that you pluck down to know which life is and what lives. Let me cook up a recipe and write words similar to forgiveness. Boil two eggs and knock out all the messages out the door. Count the number of sins and bottle them up. Stew up some math soup without plastic to close the top of the bowl. In the near future I’ll add soup cans with no hesitation. Noodles on my breath recycle to go far. On the top of your slow odd head I see trash. Even a mountain can inhale a train across the track getting away. The fresh new wheel threw away the square that peaked with a problem. Snow fell in the air steer clear from the child’s ball winter spin the water catch your seed from falling off the boat. Freeze the water before evaporation. This method leaves ice to grow at the speed of a snail. Whether a free man works for green to make captain is his own business. As a father release not the leader from the tree. Follow the bark you hear son jump rope to relieve stress. Tie your exercise with the speaking of this holy chapter. Another ghost shouted a word in the suite. Play out the sweet face again. The white candy caused a scar when I began reading the dictionary. The subject and noun trick battled my teeth in the end. Evil will fool your last action with a smile. Laugh and giggle are verbs in this sentence competition.

What's that?

its 430am, do you know where your heads at!
i have been digging strictly leakage lately. Crewed up is such a cool song, and I was at a hiphop festival with atmosphere headlining last spring and everyone in that song came together to play that as the encore so awesome |

Just saw Dj Premier vs Pete Rock at Circa in Toronto, this is the 2nd time these 2 went head to head since LA a year or so ago.
I'm not a huge hip-hop aficionado but I honestly don't think I will ever see a better hip hop show. Favourite cut had to have been Royce 5'9's "Boom", both of them killed it. |
omgggggg
pete rock and primo are my favorite producers ever. they're so sick at sampling and pete is so smooth. you're lucky. this beat i uploaded is pretty primo-esque http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL_tRissa08 |

That is a pretty sick beat. I forgot how good Illmatic was.
|
It's good. Sometimes it's even great. But sometimes great is as far as I'm willing to go.
